RitzPix Review
RitzPix is a fast and easy digital printing service. They differ from traditional online photo processors by offering 1-hour photo printing. Instead of uploading photos to their website then waiting for your prints to arrive a few days later in the mail, you can pick up your prints in a hour at one of RitzPix's network of brick and mortar photo stores including Ritz Camera, Wolf Camera and many more. Their prices are competitive with most photo services and you save time and delivery fees. You can still order prints for delivery by mail with a delivery charge. Due to their nature, photo gifts are not available for 1-hour service.
Until recently the RitzPix web site was pretty basic and mainly offered photo printing. They recently updated their site and are now offering a range of features including photo gifts like mugs, calendars, photo books, puzzles, cards, CDs and other photo items. RitzPix offers a huge variety of print sizes including non-standard sized like 8x8 and 12x12, as well as really large enlargements up to 44x120 inches. Photo sharing and storage is somewhat limited. Your photos are deleted in 90 days. If you want to keep photos longer you need to purchase Saved Album space. RitzPix has supplemented its somewhat limited website Q&A section with a new Live Help feature for questions and answers on technical issues -- a big plus.
