I don't know about you, but I sure am ready for summer. I have a wedding to attend, and you may too, or perhaps you have a graduation to attend or an exciting vacation planned. In any case, summer is bound to provide lots of picture-taking opportunities. Photo Tip of the Month - Spectacular Sunsets

Going to the beach on vacation this summer? Or a lake, or an island? The mountains? Even a big city. Wherever you go, there are likely to be some great sunsets you'll want to capture. Here are some tips on getting some interesting sunset shots:

Off Center
Take the photo with the sun off-center -- move your camera a little to the left or the right instead of dead-center on the sunset. You will have a more interesting horizon.
Create a Silhouette
Include something in the foreground like palm trees or mountains or a person to create a silhouette. Make sure you turn off your flash or there won't be a silhouette.
Use a night flash
Night flash has a slow shutter speed to capture the background scene with flash while illuminating a subject in the foreground. Use nightflash when taking a photo of a person with the sunset n the background.
