ACDSee Shadow/Highlights toolShadow/Highlight tool: Saves shots that you may have thought unsalvageable. This tool makes it simple to instantly and automatically correct photos that are either too dark or too bright. Haven't we all taken poorly exposed photos that we dispair how to fix them without washing out the background? This tool will be invaluable for many of us. Users can also fix red-eye with a single click using an improved red-eye reduction tool.

Auto Categories: ACDSee 9 organizes your photos for you. When using the Get Photos command from your camera, ACDSee will automatically put your pictures into categories based on their camera information, file properties, keywords, size, date taken.

Calendar Events View: Automatically organizes your images based on the date they were taken. They're displayed in an organized event list and you can add your own unique descriptions.

Private Folders: Make specific photos or folders confidential by moving them to your own password-protected Private Folder.

I've been using my wishlist features a whole lot more, and have been doing a lot of work in ACDSee getting organized. It is surprisingly inspirational to organize this stuff - I forget how much COOL stuff I have purchased in the last few years!
