At 12.3MP the Nikon D300 is an outstanding SLR with loads of top-notch features and excellent image quality with low noise. It has a 3-inch LCD with 170-degree view, active-D lighting and 51-point auto focus. It is quite expensive, but is worth the money for the outstanding images it produces. The camera has two lives views and an excellent menu format.
